This website is operated by Mariyam.lk. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Mariyam.lk.

Mariyam.lk provides a curated shopping and delivery service that sources selected products from Dubai and delivers them to Sri Lanka. By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

Nature of Service

Mariyam.lk is not a traditional online store.
We act as a shopping and facilitation service, purchasing selected products on behalf of customers and arranging delivery through third-party logistics partners.

Orders are reviewed, confirmed, and finalized via WhatsApp before payment is collected.

Product Information & Availability

  • Product prices displayed in flyers are shown in AED, as provided by Dubai retailers

  • Final billing is done in LKR, based on a weekly fixed conversion rate

  • Product availability is subject to store stock at the time of purchase

  • Mariyam.lk does not guarantee availability of any item shown in flyers

If an item is unavailable, customers will be informed and offered alternatives or adjustments.

Ordering Conditions

  • Only non-perishable items are accepted

  • Fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, frozen, or restricted items are not eligible

  • Minimum order requirement: 10 kg per order

  • Orders may include items from multiple Dubai stores

Mariyam.lk reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that does not meet shipping or regulatory requirements.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping is offered via air cargo (standard) or sea cargo (optional for bulk orders)

  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to logistics, customs clearance, or external factors

  • Shipping charges are calculated based on total weight and item category

  • Certain items (cosmetics, liquids, perfumes, fragile items) may require special handling charges

All shipping costs are communicated and approved by the customer before order confirmation.

Payments

  • All payments are collected in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR)

  • Orders must be paid in full before purchase and shipment

  • Once an order is confirmed and purchased, it cannot be cancelled or refunded

Mariyam.lk is not responsible for price changes by retailers after order confirmation.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the nature of cross-border shopping:

  • Returns or exchanges are not accepted

  • Refunds are issued only if an order cannot be fulfilled due to unavailability or cancellation before purchase

  • Damages or issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, with supporting images

Each case will be reviewed individually.

Delays & Liability

Mariyam.lk is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Customs inspections

  • Airline or shipping disruptions

  • Force majeure events

  • Third-party logistics partners

We will, however, communicate transparently and assist customers throughout the delivery process.

Currency & Pricing

  • AED prices shown are indicative only

  • Orders are billed using a weekly fixed AED → LKR conversion rate

  • The applicable rate is communicated before payment confirmation

Mariyam.lk reserves the right to update conversion rates weekly.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, branding, and logos, is the property of Mariyam.lk and may not be copied or used without written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.

Changes to Terms

Mariyam.lk reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
